How many totes do you actually need?

Every Boxless tote is 27" × 17" × 12.5" — about 25 gallons. Here's roughly what each package covers, though it always depends on how you pack.

Studio

A studio or one bedroom with light furniture — clothing, kitchen basics, and everyday essentials.

1–2 Bedroom

A full 1–2 bedroom apartment — clothing, kitchen, bathroom, and closet contents for one or two people.

2–3 Bedroom

A house or larger apartment — multiple bedrooms' worth of belongings plus shared living space items.

3–4 Bedroom

A larger family home — several bedrooms, a full kitchen, and common areas.

Full House

A complete household move — every room, including overflow storage and garage items.

What's the deposit for?

Every booking includes a refundable security deposit, held on your card at checkout — not charged. It's released within 3–5 business days of your totes coming back complete and undamaged. If something's missing or damaged, you're only billed for the actual item at the rate listed in our Terms of Service — never a surprise fee.

Need more time?

Extensions are 50% of your original package price for each additional 7 days — no re-booking, no new deposit. You'll get a text reminder before your pickup date with a one-tap link to extend if you need it.

Do I need to be home for delivery or pickup?

No — just make sure the delivery address is accessible during your scheduled window. You'll get a photo the moment totes arrive or leave, so you always know it happened.

What if I return totes early?

Your deposit is released the same way — within 3–5 business days of confirmed full return, regardless of how many days were left on your rental.

What happens if a tote is damaged or missing?

You're billed only for the specific item, at the rate listed in our Terms of Service — deducted from your deposit hold first. Disputed charges can be reported within 24 hours of pickup.
